Glue Slime Recipe

This is probably the most common slime recipe. It consists of ingredients most people already have at home. Very simple but lots of fun. It’s actually important that the white glue is Elmer’s, I haven’t had good results with other brands.

Ingredients:

White Glue (Elmer’s)
Liquid Starch
Food colouring

Directions:

I love recipes with few ingredients. Makes it simple and really cheap!

  1. Pour desired amount of liquid starch in a bowl.
  2. Add food coloring.
  3. Add as much glue to the bowl as liquid starch.
  4. Mix well and it will quickly take a more solid form.
  5. Enjoy and have fun!

This is a very simple but effective recipe, always appreciated by the children. Great for rainy days!

Step 1:

Naturally we want the ingredients. This time we need liquid starch, white glue and food coloring, that’s it.

Step 2:

Pour desired amount of liquid starch into a bowl and add the food coloring.

Step 3:

Add as much white glue to the mixture as liquid starch. Start kneading and the mixture will quickly become more solid, but still slimy. Keep at it until desired texture is achieved. Some glue can be “locked inside” the slime, just so you know.
